Welcome to the Xenor Eco Printshield explanation

Eco Printshiled is most commonly applied on inkjet canvas so I'll focus on that application first.

Eco Print Shield will help prevent cracking when stretching the canvas. It is a polymer coating which will not yellow or go brittle. It is a water based product and will protect the canvas from moisture, light, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasions and even fingerprints.

It is available in a Gloss, Satin and Matte finish. When you view part 2 of the videos below you will learn that the first two coats should use the Gloss coating and it is the third (or last) coating where you might decide to use Matt or Satin if that is what you want.

So, please have a look at the videos to learn more about applying Eco Print Shield to canvas. By the way, the guy in the videos is not me.

There is also a solvent version available in spray cans or bulk 5 litre containers. The spray cans are handy for small jobs. The spray won't soak in as well as the Eco Print Shield (so the canvas won't feel as plasticised) but it will offer good protection.

Cheers

Trevor
